This week's update is about many small improvements, for the benefit of our members. Here are the most significant ones:
A beloved child has many names
First of all, we have made changes to the way products (Pricing Profiles) are defined, to give much more flexibility in their naming.
If you sell digital images, you don't have anymore to keep the same "rights-managed" and "royalty-free" terminology used in the templates: it is now possible to call them what you want, e.g. "downloads" or "license" - there is simply a new "Label" option for that purpose.
We have now also made it much easier to sell generic products instead of prints (like, for example, t-shirts or books), and in fact, there is now a new Pricing Profile template for that purpose.
We will still work on the interface to make it even easier to create new Pricing Profiles, but we couldn't wait to share the news!
In other developements...
Custom slideshows can now be "randomized", so that the slides don't always display in the same order.
And lastly, our members probably have noticed some changes in how the images are uploaded, and how cover images for the galleries are defined. You will notice other interface improvements over the next few weeks, as we are now focusing on making it easier and faster to work with PhotoDeck.
The feedback we've received on these 2 improvements show we're heading in the right direction, so thank you!
