Sam asks: Is there a way to turn off the 'add to lightbox' link in galleries?
Sure! In fact, if you use your website primarily for simple proofing or download, it's probably a good idea -- and it's very simple to do:
You will find the option under My Website / Style and Layout (requires a PRO or STUDIO plan). Click on the main Component (where images are displayed), and then, under Component options / Gallery display styles, click on "Edit style".
Alternatively, the Gallery Display Styles options are also easily accessible via the Settings tab for any gallery in "My Images & Videos".
Note that you can separately remove the link for the thumbnails and for the enlarged images.
Why is it sometimes a good idea to remove the lighbox feature from your website? It all depends what you use PhotoDeck for, and who your clients are. Lightboxes are great for stock sites, and with professional clients. If you sell to consumers, it might confuse them.
