Kevin asks: Whenever someone tries to pay I always get an email saying "THIS ORDER REQUIRES MANUAL VALIDATION". Have I not got something set correctly?
By default, PhotoDeck ecommerce is setup so that your intervention is not required to get paid, so that clients who purchase downloads or licenses can get the files immediately.
But for some of our members, it makes more sense to manually validate each order before requesting payment. For example, when the images in the system are not final images, it leaves an opportunity to replace ordered images by final, retouched versions, before asking for online payment (which in turns triggers the file delivery).
So there is an option for that, under My Business > (more) > Checkout Flow:
When the option is set to "Yes", you will receive an email upon each order, telling you that you need to open the order and validate it to go forward in the checkout process.
If, like Kevin, you'd rather have your orders processed fully autonomously, make sure the option is left to its default value "no"!
