What is PhotoDeck?

PhotoDeck is a technology provider for professional photographers. We create highly performant websites that include advanced e-commerce facilities, used by Social photographers (Wedding, Portrait, Events) and Fine Art photographers around the world.

For each order that your clients receive via their PhotoDeck websites, we have the capability to automatically email you a fulfillment order, on their behalf.

How does it work?

You will simply receive orders by email, and download the high-res files in a single click. Each order includes:

  • Information provided by your clients when connecting their PhotoDeck account to you: customer ID, contact and billing information, printing and shipping preferences, special instructions, etc…
  • A delivery address ;
  • Detail of the items to print ;
  • A link to download a zip archive containing the high-res files to print. The zip archive also includes a text file with the same information as in the email.

You can then treat each order according to your normal processes. Of course, post-shipment invoicing and drop-shipping capabilities would help ensure that the final client gets his/her prints as fast as possible.

The solution was designed to make it easy for you to get new orders, and fulfill them!

What is this going to cost me?

Nothing! You also get to keep the direct relationship with your clients, including billing. (As a technology provider, PhotoDeck's role is merely to submit automated orders on behalf of our members / your clients).

What do I need to do?

Nothing new, if you can work with standard email orders!

No integration is required. Once you receive an order by email, you can integrate it with your normal processes, and bill directly your client.

To get started, simply open a free Lab account.

Once you've opened an account, you will need to communicate to your PhotoDeck-using customers the email address associated with the account (so they can connect to you), and perhaps discuss with them what details you want them to include in their automated orders, including product details.
